"Inspired by the eerie and disconcerting compositions by Rosa Verloop, I made my own sculpture of a human person. the silhouette is easily recognizable from afar, but it is when the viewer comes closer that they discover that the sculpture, made of stuffed tights intertwined with one another, actually resembles a person turned inside out, with their intestines and viscera on the outside. the shape is as hypnotizing as it is repulsive.”
